happy birthday to me. ooo, joy. sound thrilled don't i? i am at the age where this birthday stuff needs only minor acknowledgment for the most part. lord knows i don't need any reminders that i am far closer to 40 than i would really like to be. and today is particularly not a good day for a birthday:
i am sick, suffering from storm pressure sinus pain, and have a load of homework so deep it will take the rest of the weekend to get unburied. it's also depressing that my updates to whysper are once, maybe twice a week. but time is just not on my side for the next 7 or 8 weeks.
and because of that homework (which is screaming at me at the moment), i am going to have to leave you with some memories to read rather than a completely new entry. enjoy some blasts from the past from the year 2000.
mind empty . . . an entry on not having an entry (6.4.2000)
i don't know, not me, and i didn't do it . . . children i never gave birth to (6.5.2000)
fluffy . . . anyone want their own portable hole? (6.7.2000)
brainwaves . . . really, i do have a brain! imagine my surprise! (7.5.2000)
hairball . . . i have too much hair, always have and probably always will (7.11.2000)

happiness is . . . everybody needs some (9.9.2000)
university days . . . soon they will be left behind me (10.12.2000)
mother's nightmare . . . thank god for happy endings (10.14.2000)
taking chances . . . sometimes they work out (10.25.2000)
writing . . . i've always done it (12.4.2000)
writing in history . . . see? i've always done it (12.22.2000)
the best christmas present . . . a family back together (12.24.2000)
that ought to keep you all busy. and my homework ought to keep ME busy. joy. have a great weekend everyone..i am very sure it will be better than mine at this point.
