happiness is...

this is for masaka... :)

happiness is not having to watch every step and every word in your own home

happiness is seeing your kids smile

happiness is free computer games that entertain your hard to entertain child (thus the site of the moment!)

happiness is laying comfortably in someone arms and knowing they care

happiness is cleaning out your email box, especially when it has over 150 messages sitting there waiting for you to do something with them

happiness is watching the kids play out in the sprinklers

happiness is knowing you made the right choices, even if they were hard choices

happiness is having good friends, online and off

happiness is seeing your kids do their best in school

happiness is seeing your daughter make the soccer team and the cheerleading squad

happiness is those hours of peace and quiet on sundays when the kids are off with dad

happiness is finishing a web set and feeling good about it

happiness is a warm day, not too hot, with shining sun, a cool breeze, and no rain

happiness is seeing your kids feel comfortable in their own home

happiness is touching someone else's life in a positive way

happiness is music

but most of all happiness is being free to be yourself and being content with that. i am happy. there is no pressure in my life from outside forces to change. i have friends i enjoy online and off. and i have children who are happy to be themselves too. while we have struggles we are trying to over come and make it through, we have each other and no longer feel constrained. in a way, i can't really ask much more than that.
