and someone apparently will. i received a letter today that one of my debts is about to go to a lawyer. there's not a whole heck of a lot i can do about it, but it frustrates me to no end. i'm almost sure these are the same people who called the other day saying they had to make a decision with or without my input. they've been given my input and just don't want to listen, so i'm pretty well stuck. i've tried reasoning with these kind of people before, $10 a month isn't enough for them. having other bills makes no difference, theirs is the one that takes priority.
i have few options. our rent is about to go up because our income is up. my husband is about to go on a forced 3 week vacation. i can't get a job for various and sundry reasons. i could try paying this one bill to the detriment of all the others and hope no one else tries to go to litigation until it's done. i can declare bankruptcy. i've been thinking about a debt consolidation, but have no idea who to use. and i'm sure the added cost isn't going to help the financial situation that much. besides, no collateral.
i'm frustrated and close to tears. right when we get a job is when everyone loses patience. just like their persistent phone calls, their timing sucks.
