it started saturday evening with an achy throat and hot flashes. i honestly thought maybe i was starting menopause since my monthly seemed to be late (although being sick right around my monthly makes sense since i am severely anemic). by yesterday my throat was in agony, my ears and head ached, and my temp was bouncing like a rubber ball thrown into a small room. the temp doesn't vary too much - it's a low grade fever or no fever at all. with my laptop out of commission, and me only able to sit for very short periods of time, i'm pretty much not doing anything - no coding for my host, no writing, nothing. i can read, thank god for that.

at any rate, so i will be gone a bit it seems. while you wait, go vote and do some reading. i've done one and will be doing quite a bit of the other.
