The Clique . . .
      . . . began in 2003 as a part of my journal, Whyspered Moments. So many journalers list the books they are currently reading and have read in the past, that the clique seemed a natural way to gather them together in a show of support of reading. On the sites that follow you will find readings lists, book recommendations, and even booklogs that review books. Their common bond is a love of and commitment to reading.
      Members of A Year of Reading agree to do two things: 1) keep a list of what they read through the year on their sites, either in the sidebar or on a separate, linked page; and 2) to read at least one new book every month for the year.
      In May of 2004 the clique was separated from Whysper and moved into its own section of domynoes.com, and the members list was out into phpList.

The site . . .
      . . . was created and is run by domynoe and is a part of domynoes.com. The site layout was originally used for a now closed fan listing, Use Scribo Ere (closed because it was a duplicate fl at TFL), and the image is courtesy Dreamstime Royalty Free Images.
