Before you apply, please take a moment to look at the other sites in the ring to get an idea of what we're looking for.
Most importantly, we are a ring of sites with creative, original content. However, the following will DISQUALIFY you from being added to the ring automatically:
» Porn, hate, etc.
» Pop-up advertisements.
» No content other than links.
» AlTeRnAtInG cApS. Kewlies. U R so gr8. These only show your immaturity.
» Too many grammar/spelling errors, broken links/images.
» Hard-to-read fonts or difficult navigation.
What works? Pretty much anything else, as long as there's a lot of it. We are looking for sites of a particular caliber and not all qualities we're looking for can be defined. The ring owners have the right to accept or reject sites even if they don't fall within the specifics listed in these rules.
The following should be obvious, but considering the many, many submissions we're getting that don't follow one or more of the below, please keep in mind:
» Navigation must be clear. We will NOT hunt around for your content.
» If you submit a subdomain, it is assumed that you only want the subdomain considered. If you want content on another subdomain of the same domain space considered, submit the base domain not the subdomain.
» Each of us uses different browsers. To increase your chances of acceptance, it would probably be a good idea to make sure your site works in Opera, Netscape 7, I.E., and Mozilla.
How submissions work:
After you submit your site to the ring, the creators will evaluate your site to see if it meets our criteria. Once we have decided, you will receive an email with your acceptance or rejection. Please DO NOT add the code unless you're accepted.
We ARE an elite ring and reserve the right to refuse any site that we feel doesn't meet our expectations for the ring.
